Hello, folks! I’m back. Yes, after taking a month and a half off from blogging, I went for a run yesterday and suddenly got an idea for a post. Now, to be fair, the latter part of my January and all of my February were consumed with a high-stakes, pressure-cooker of a project at my day job—which temporarily turned into a day-and-night job. My creative juices and any motivation to write evaporated in the midst of sleep deprivation and crazy levels of stress. But I’m slowly finding my groove again…

So, the other day, I passed by this automatic fire sprinkler and standpipe system on the side of a DC office building:

It reminded me of the signature knobs on a Wolf range:

There’s a little touch of irony in a fire sprinkler system looking like a gas range appliance, don’t you think?
