“The League” on FX is not exactly must-see TV for me. It’s a raunchy comedy about dudes and fantasy football with all the predictable jokes and outlandish scenarios that you might imagine. But for pure mindless fun, you could do worse! While my favorite character is the obnoxiously smug Ruxin (played by Nick Kroll), Katie Aselton’s Jenny is pretty great as the only female protagonist in the bunch.

At first, Ms. Aselton reminded me of Margot Kidder. However, upon closer inspection, I think she looks a lot like a younger version of Jaclyn Smith.
