The SweetBot
Call me a nerd, maybe, but I’ve been thinking a lot about “bots” lately. Wired magazine last month did a fascinating profile of the game-changing company MakerBot that designs and produces affordable 3D printers. And my colleague recently introduced me to the well-designed suite of useful iOS apps developed by Tapbots, like Tweetbot (a Twitter client) and Convertbot (which converts units like currency, temperature, etc.).
Which brings me to last weekend where in my Twitter feed, I saw a link via @Dwell about this colorful Cubebot:

“Micro Cubebot” robot toy made of beech wood.
It reminds me of two different sweet treats–a combo of this nifty cake inspired by the Rubik’s Cube:

and rectangular Pez candy:

Pile o’ Pez.
You know, a SweetBot would satisfy my dessert cravings and inner geek. Wonder if the Replicator could make this happen.
