I’ve had this idea for awhile to combine two things that I love into a regular feature. Growing up in Philly listening to 93.3 WMMR, I’ve always remembered “Double-Shot Tuesdays” where the DJ (usually Pierre Robert) would play back-to-back songs from the same artist (think Pearl Jam, Nirvana, the Stones). I also seem to have a knack for remembering celebrity faces and noticing when one person resembles another. Voilà, Double-Take Tuesdays!

Zachary Quinto (star of movies like “Star Trek” and “Margin Call”)

Ken Olin (actor best known for, as far as I’m concerned, the ’80s TV drama “thirtysomething”)

This is still a bit of an experiment so please bear with me!

One other caveat: I had submitted some of my observations to resemblog.com but they never responded or posted any of my stuff, to the best of my knowledge. I haven’t visited that website in months so all of these posts are mental associations that occur in my own head. Any duplication between our sites is purely coincidental along the lines of great minds thinking alike (i.e. I don’t wanna be accused of ripping off another site’s content).
